Our Impact

We are committed to giving back to our community, ensuring that as we grow, our communities thrive alongside us

Covid 19 Pandemic

We embarked on a water project in Harare and Bulawayo in which we donated purified water as part of nationwide COVID-19 response to assist the communities affected by water shortages. The donation is in partnership with the respective city councils of Bulawayo and Harare.  The aim of this project was to provide water for households to practice good hand washing and body hygiene as a mitigation to Covid19 and the other diseases that can further burden the fragile healthcare system. The bulk water bowsing project has the goal of donating up to 1million liters of purified water to various communities across the country.

We donated over 500 000 liters of purified water to locations in Budiriro, Cowdry park, Luveve, Glenview, Magwegwe, Pumula South and Pumula East, Nkulumane, Glen Norah, Mufakose, Hopley, Warren Park and Cold Comfort 1, Warren Park, Hopely Southlands, Glenwood Park and Springview Ruwa. We partnered with Dan Church Aid, Natpack, Blackbox investments, Rawplast industries and Gold Star sugars to set up tanks for the purpose of water bowsing

Through its business unit, BBJ, the organization actively contributed to the community during the COVID-19 pandemic by donating hand sanitizers and masks. This initiative was part of our commitment to public health and safety, aiming to protect vulnerable community members and support efforts to combat the spread of the virus

BONAQUA TRIATHLON

Cholera

The organization took proactive measures to combat the cholera outbreak by providing access to safe drinking water. Recognizing the critical link between clean water and public health, we mobilized resources to deliver safe water to affected communities. This initiative was vital in preventing the spread of cholera and reducing the risk of further illness among vulnerable populations.

KidzCan Foundation: Supporting the fight against Childhood Cancer

We are a proud long term supporter of Kidzcan an initiative that seeks to serve children and families affected by cancer as well as communities throughout Zimbabwe. Kidzcan conducts Paediatric Cancer Early Detection and Awareness Campaigns/Workshops across different communities in Zimbabwe.

As Schweppes Holdings Africa Limited we join KidzCan in commemorating Orange Month. Every year in the month of February we join KidzCan in raising awareness on childhood cancer and fundraise towards drugs and welfare needs of childhood cancer patients and their families. Our staff voluntarily wear orange to raise awareness and we collectively donate to KidzCan per individual who comes to work wearing orange. These campaigns are themed with various calls to action that are in line with the KidzCan annual theme.
